132: Control Your Environment
Apr 16, 2024Hey there, listeners! Today, I have a quick Tuesday Tip for you about something that is both simple and profound: protecting your focus.
It's something we all grapple with – the constant battle to maintain concentration amidst a sea of distractions. From the allure of social media notifications to the temptation of instant gratification, our focus is constantly under siege.
In this episode, we'll explore the importance of owning your atmosphere and taking control of your environment to safeguard your focus. We may not yet know what that looks like for us, but it is certainly something we need to explore. So, if you're tired of feeling scattered and unfocused, and ready to reclaim your productivity, this episode is for you.
Our focus is such a limited resource and we allow it to be interrupted by so many things.
Discussed in this episode:
- The importance of protecting your focus
- Why we allow and sometimes even seek distraction
- What we can do to control our own environment for productivity
