I was working in my mom's fabric store, and I had been meeting with reps to decide what kind of fabric we wanted to carry in the store. And one day I was walking down an aisle with bolts of fabric on both sides of me, and I looked that one, and I held it in my hand. And I thought, oh Amy goodness.

So if I go back to my story, My problem was I didn't know how to get started, and I got so overwhelmed because I wasn't sure what steps to take, what order the steps should go in or what they even were that I got stuck in an action for a long time. I wasted 6 months in complete overwhelm until I started just chipping away to figure it out. Now Stu forward over a decade, not only did I figure it out, but I've also seen tens of thousands of students and their journeys as well. So what this has done is given me this really unique behind the scenes look at what the typical journey looks like. What are all the steps and what's the best order of steps to go in if you wanna pursue a career in surface design. And my heart still sits with the version of me who just didn't know what they all looked like so much that I have built it into this entire program that I'm gonna teach in this free 7 day workshop.
